Ostensibly for "excellence in the advancement of voice, data and/or video communications", according to the President of the Technology Marketing Corporation (TMC), the award given to VirtualPBX is another in a long line for a company that's been a major part of the advance of hosted PBX technologies.
After perusing a bit through the article at TMC's website, it seems to us like the award is a combination of recognition for quality and continued addition of advanced features. VirtualPBX's new SmartID system (a far advanced version of caller ID) and the Recording Manager (which makes handling your auto-attendent easy and powerful) were both specifically mentioned in the article as being of superior design and accessibility. And given that VirtualPBX is the only competitor in their bracket with full-service queues, it's easy to see why they'd be chosen by the technology and communications magazine as the award recipient.

they may not have the features from virtualpbx but they come down to my office and install it and help me set up all the features which no one else will do.
